function disable_audio_download() { ?> Background: The melody of “Safe Harbor” was originally a commission using the traditional Irish Benediction text, written for the school-opening ceremony for Leo Adams Middle School in 2018 (Brad Kerley and Ashley Grant, directors). The new poem was custom added later by Ashley Dame, with the goal of preserving the feeling and message of a benediction, but with a unique text that can also be performed in secular settings.

This piece is perfect for concerts, contests, memorial services, school dedications, annual benediction songs, and more. The optional treble choir exists for including a children’s choir or middle school choir for school cluster concerts or combined children/youth/adult chorus performances.
